It has been said of our town, “If you’re lucky enough to live in Durango, you’re lucky enough”.  We at Durango Land and Homes truly believe that and because we’re so lucky, we feel it’s important to give back to the community that we’re so privileged to be a part of. Our spirit of community is spread in a couple different ways.

First, our brokers participate in the Durango Land and Homes Charitable Contributions Fund which we started as part of our “Integrity Gives” initiative.  With each closing commission earned, our brokers donate to the fund.  At our team meetings we review requests for donations and vote on recipients and amounts. Each year, we’re excited to see those donated dollars grow and each year, we challenge ourselves to keep that number on its northward trajectory!

Second, we volunteer our time.  Durango is a small community, but it’s one that gives from the heart.  Our town has numerous well-deserving 501(c)3 charitable organizations all of which need not only funds, but help in other ways as well.  We do that too.

CHRISTINA RINDERLE and CHRIS BETTIN were honored to have been finalists for the 2018 “Ed Morlan” Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Chamber’s Durango Rocks program. Durango Land and Homes was also nominated by peers and fellow citizens in the “Spirit of Durango” category. Being recognized by our peers is high praise indeed and we were thrilled to be named alongside some very worthy competitors in these categories. Congrats to all nominees and winners!
